Heat a skillet to medium high heat. Add diced onions and cook just until beginning to brown about 5 minutes. Add olive oil salt and pepper. Cook another 5 minutes. Set aside to let cool.
On a small plate add the ingredients for the coating. Mix. Roll the cheese ball until covered.
Roast your own garlic- Place a whole head of garlic on a large piece of foil, drizzle 1 teaspoon olive oil over the top. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top. Close foil and bake for 45 minutes or until garlic squeezes out easily.
