Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

A slice of pork tenderloin being picked up with tongs.

Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin is juicy, tender, and packed with bold, smoky yet sweet flavor. With a simple marinade made of simple spices and olive oil then a quick drizzle of honey that adds the perfect touch of sweetness.

Equipment

Ingredients

1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 pork tenderloin about 1 ½ pounds *see notes
2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper and red pepper until combined.
Place the tenderloin into a large Ziplock freezer bag add the olive oil and spice mixture and give it a rub until coated. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour or up to 12 hours.
Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes. Place tenderloin into air fryer and fry on 385 degrees for 20-22 minutes. Or until an digital meat thermometer reaches 145 degrees.
Remove from the air fryer and place on a cutting board to rest for 5 minutes. Slice and drizzle honey over the top.

Notes

Pork tenderloins come in a package of 2. This recipe can easily be doubled. But I don’t recommend placing both in the air fryer basket as it will overcrowd it.

Oven Directions: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place the tenderloin in a baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
