Creamy Garlic Chicken is made with seasoned, juicy, tender chicken breasts that get blanketed in a rich and creamy garlic sauce. It's a simple meal to toss together so you can have dinner on the table in only 30 minutes.
Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board slice the chicken into two thinner slices.
Place a piece of plastic wrap on top of the chicken and using a meat mallet or rolling pin pound out the chicken breasts to about ½ inch thick.
Rub the flour over both sides of the chicken and sprinkle the salt and pepper evenly.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. Sear the chicken for 4 minutes per side and remove to a plate.
Reduce heat to medium and add the butter and garlic to the skillet and let melt, scraping the bits off the bottom.
Sprinkle in the flour and cook another minute, then whisk in the chicken stock, onion powder and Italian seasoning and simmer 1-2 minutes until thickened.
Whisk in the heavy cream and salt and pepper add more to taste if needed.
Add the chicken back in and simmer on low 3-5 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve!
