In a small bowl mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper until combined.
Place the chicken thighs into a large bowl or ziplock bag add the olive oil, minced garlic, and spice mixture and toss until coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a grill on medium-high heat and place over direct heat and grill 3-4 minutes, flip and grill another 3-4 minutes. Remove to indirect heat and cook another 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
