1large white onion diced
4clovesgarlic minced
2teaspoonsgarlic powder
2teaspoonsonion powder
1teaspoonpaprika
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
8ouncepkg mushrooms cut into slices
Instructions
Add the gravy packet and water to the bottom of a slow cooker and whisk until combined.
Place the onion and garlic into the slow cooker followed by the chicken thighs. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and Italian seasoning, salt and pepper evenly over the chicken thighs. Cook for 3-4 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low.
The last hour of cooking add in the sliced mushrooms.
Serve over mashed potatoes or cooked pasta.
Notes
Boneless skinless chicken breasts can be used but you will probably need to cut down the cooking time a bit.
