apples
cut into quarters (I used Gala and Honey Crisp)
1/2- 3/4
cup
brown sugar depending on sweetness of the apples.

cinnamon sticks

ground all spice

teaspoon
whole cloves

star anise

cranberries

orange cut into slices

Instructions
In a small bowl mix the brown sugar and all spice until combined.
Place cloves into the orange slices and set aside.
Place all the ingredients into the slow cooker. Cook on low 6 hours or high 4 hours.
After apples are soft mash all the contents with a potato masher. Squeezing out as mush juice as possible.
Strain out the ingredients until you just have liquid. Serve warm
Notes
Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
