Slow Cooker Root Beer Chicken Wings are so flavorful with tender, juicy chicken on the inside. The BBQ sauce and soda bring a unique flavor that really sets these wings apart from a variety of other flavors we typically enjoy.

Instructions
Place chicken wings in slow cooker, season with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl mix together BBQ sauce, paprika, garlic and cayenne pepper. Mix and reserve 1/2 cup for later.
Pour 1/3 of the sauce over the wings, and add in root beer.
Cook on high 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours.
Line a baking sheet with foil. Set oven to broil.
Place chicken wings on the baking sheet, brush with extra sauce and sprinkle a pinch of brown sugar over each wing.
Broil on the top rack 5-8 minutes (keep an eye on them). Flip and add more sauce and broil another 2-3 minutes. Serve!
Notes
Root beer or Dr Pepper works great.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
