Air Fryer Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are the perfect appetizer that combines the flavors of a juicy cheeseburger wrapped inside a crispy, crunchy egg roll that's ready in no time.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, diced onions, and chopped dill pickles.
Cook until the meat is juicy and browned, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks.
Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined. Remove the meat mixture from the heat.
On a clean and flat surface, lay out one egg roll wrapper with one corner facing you, creating a diamond shape.
Wet the corners with some water and then place ½ slice of American cheese or cheddar and about ¼ cup of the cheeseburger filling in the center of the egg roll wrapper.
Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the side corners. Roll the wrapper tightly towards the top corner. Repeat this process with the remaining wrappers.
Lightly spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush it with olive oil to prevent the egg rolls from sticking. Place the egg rolls in a single layer inside the air fryer basket.
Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy. I recommend checking halfway through and flipping the cheeseburger egg rolls so that they can cook evenly.
Remove the egg rolls from the air fryer and let them cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Notes
The best way to store leftover egg rolls is in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. It may be necessary to work in batches when making this recipe. The first time you make this delicious appetizer, cook a small batch first, then cook the remaining egg rolls. Frying directions Pour 2-3 inches of oil into a deep pot. Heat the oil to 350 degrees. Fry 3-4 egg rolls at a time, turning occasionally, until browned all over, approximately 3-5 minutes. Remove to a paper towel to drain.
Oven directions Preheat your oven to 425 degrees, brush the egg rolls with oil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
