  • 2 pounds stew meat
  • 1 1/2 pounds creamer potatoes halved if they are large
  • 1 large onion cut into chunks
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Creole seasoning
  • 1 pkg onion soup mix
  • 8 tablespoons butter cut into pieces

Instructions
 

  • Place the stew meat, potatoes, onions, garlic, soup mix, and cajun seasoning into the slow cooker.
  • Add the pieces of butter on top, cover and cook 7-8 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high. Serve!

Notes

  • Yukon gold or red potatoes are good substitutes, just make sure they are cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
