Ingredients Needed

- Peanuts: Give your chocolate candy a nice crunch and a bit of salty, nutty flavor to balance out the rich sweetness.
- Chocolate Chips: I use both chocolate chips and white chocolate chips for a good balance.
- Peanut Butter Chips: Makes your crockpot candy creamy and doubles down on the nutty flavor.
- Semi Sweet Baking Bar: For even more chocolate flavor with added richness and complexity.
How to Make this Crockpot Christmas Candy

- Step 1: Add roasted peanuts to the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Step 2: Pour the chocolate chips over the peanuts.
- Step 3: Layer in the peanut butter chips and semi sweet baking bar.
- Step 4: Finish off the mixture by adding the white chocolate chips. Cover and cook on low for an hour or two, stirring halfway through.

- Step 5: Once the mixture is fully melted and combined, scoop the candy onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Step 6: Top candy clusters with sprinkles or other toppings of your choice, then refrigerate on the cookie sheet for 20 minutes (or until fully set).

Recipe Tips
- Don't rush this recipe! Cook on low to avoid scorching the chocolate or causing it to seize up.
- For the peanuts, salted peanuts and unsalted peanuts both work well but each provide a slightly different flavor.
- Use a small cookie scoop to evenly portion the chocolate mixture. Spraying the scoop with some baking spray or even coating with butter will prevent the chocolate from sticking too much.
- You can mix all kinds of other toppings into this Christmas candy! Toffee bits, macadamia nuts, pretzel pieces, and mini marshmallows are all great additions.
- I use semi-sweet chocolate chips, but you can use milk chocolate chips for a sweeter result.

Recipe FAQ's
Overheating the chocolate and then allowing it to cool can sometimes alter the cocoa butter crystals in the candy, making it much meltier on contact with your fingers. If this is an issue, use chocolate that is labeled specifically as meant for melting.
Yes, if you cook on too high a heat, it's possible that you'll scorch your chocolate. Low and slow is best for this chocolate candy.

- 1 (12 ounce) bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (8 ounce) semi sweet melting bar
- 1 (12 ounce) bag peanut butter chips
- 1 (12 ounce) bag white chocolate chips
- sprinkles, dehydrated marshmallows
Instructions
- Prepare 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or baking mats.
- Add the roasted peanuts into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the chocolate chips on top of the peanuts.
- Break up the melting bar and place on top along with the peanut butter chips.

- Cook on LOW for 1-2 hours stirring halfway through.
- Once the chocolate is melted, use a 2-inch cookie scoop or spoon and scoop the cluster onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Add aprinkles of your choice and refrigerate for 20 minutes or until fully set.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Always cook on LOW. High heat can scorch the chocolate or make it seize. Let the crockpot do its thingโno need to rush it.
- You can use dry-roasted, salted, unsalted, or even a mix. Salted adds that perfect sweet-salty contrast, while unsalted keeps them more mellow.
- A small cookie scoop gives you perfectly sized clusters. They set quicker and make for a great giftable size.
