All the ingredients needed for this dinner.
  • Italian sausage: you could use other types of sausage if desired. While I liked using pork sausage, you can use chicken sausage or turkey sausage instead. If you want some heat, try using hot Italian sausage.
  • Veggies: a mix of red bell pepper, yellow bell peppers, and green bell pepper, and an onion
  • Cooking oil: olive oil
  • Seasonings: minced garlic cloves, salt, Italian seasoning and smoked paprika

How to make Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers

  • Step 1: Prep ingredients. Using a sharp knife, slice peppers and onions into ยผ inch slices. Then cut sausages into small pieces. 
  • Step 2: If necessary, line your large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Spread out all cut sausage, sweet bell peppers and onions on baking sheet before drizzling with oil and seasonings. Toss to coat. Bake in a preheated oven and serve.

  • Any leftovers of this easy weeknight dinner can be transferred to an airtight container and can be kept in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • When laying out your perfect meal on the roasting pan, be sure to spread everything on in a single layer so it can all cook evenly.
  • If it is easier for you, you can add everything to a large bowl and coat with the oil and seasonings. Toss together in the bowl before transferring everything to your prepared baking sheet. 
  • Instead of cutting the sausage links into smaller pieces or rounds, you can leave them whole on the sheet pan.

  • 1 pound Italian sausages 6 sausages
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 large white onion
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
  • ยฝ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ยฝ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ยผ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • Slice the pepper and onions into ยผ inch slices. Cut the sausage into discs, and place them all on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the olive oil and sprinkle the seasonings on top and give them a good toss.
  • Bake for 15 minutes toss everything and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve with white rice or mashed potatoes!

Any sausage will work for this, chicken sausage or even turkey,
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
