How to Make Slow Cooker Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwiches

- Step 1: Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and top with ranch mix and cream cheese. Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
- Step 2: Towards the end of cooking time, cook the bacon in a large skillet. Remove and set on a paper towel to drain.
- Step 3: Shred chicken with two forks.
- Step 4: Sprinkle cheddar cheese and bacon over the shredded chicken. Replace the lid and let sit until the cheese is melted, then serve on buns.

Recipe Tips
- If you prefer dark meat, you can use boneless, skinless chicken breasts instead.
- This chicken mixture is also great for making chicken bacon ranch sliders. Get some Hawaiian rolls and slice them in half, spread the chicken mixture over the bottom half, then place the other half of the buns on top.
- Green onions are optional but add some color variation and fresh flavor to your chicken.
- Use pre-cooked bacon crumbles instead of freshly cooked crispy bacon for a shortcut.
- Instead of sandwiches, you can serve this as a crockpot chicken bacon ranch pasta by mixing your favorite cooked pasta into the chicken mixture at the end of cooking time.
