All the ingredients for air fryer roasted garlic.

  • The foil packet will be hot, use tongs or oven mitts when removing it from the Air Fryer basket.
  • Use your garlic immediately or store in an airtight container, mason jar, or other glass jar covered in oil, in the refrigerator to use for my Ciabatta Garlic Bread
  • Grab some crusty bread and this garlic recipe to make some garlic bread or garlic toast with this Garlic Herb Compound Butter. It's a wonderful addition to add to your favorite homemade pasta sauces and is a great addition to your pile of Creamy Mashed Potatoes

What is the difference between garlic confit and roasted garlic?

Garlic confit and roasted garlic are both delicious ways to enjoyย fresh garlic, but they differ in preparation and flavor.ย Garlic confit involves cooking just the garlic cloves in oil, over low heat until they become soft and buttery. The result is a milder, sweeter flavor compared to roasted garlic, which is made by roasting aย whole head of garlic in the oven or Air Fryer until it caramelizes and develops aย golden brown color with a deeper, richer taste.

How do you roast garlic without burning it?

We prevent our garlic from burning by using a piece ofย tin foil
ย to help protect it from too much heat. Using this helps make sure theย garlic cooks evenly as well. Always keep an eye on your garlic.

Can I roast garlic in the oven?

Yes, place the garlic in a 375-degree oven for 40 minutes.

How to get whole garlic cloves out easily?

A simple trick is to gently squeeze the base of the bulb after roasting. This will help loosen the cloves and make them easier to remove intact. Or use a smallย butter knife to carefully separate theย individual cloves from the bulb, ensuring minimal damage to the cloves.
