Recipe Tips
- I use American cheese, but any type of cheese will work for these sliders
- Use lean ground beef, so there is less fat to drain and make the sliders soggy
- You can add a little mustard or ketchup instead of the sriracha mayo if you prefer
- Chopped dill pickles are delicious on these, but certainly, if you aren’t a fan you can leave them off.
- I love using Everything Bagel Seasoning on these sliders, but sesame seeds work fine also or you can just leave it off altogether.

Chopped Cheeseburger Sliders FAQ's
Chopped Cheeseburger Sliders are mini sandwiches made with seasoned loose ground beef, melty cheese, and soft slider buns. They’re inspired by the classic Maid Rite-style sandwich and are perfect for parties, game day, or easy family dinners.
American cheese melts beautifully and gives these sliders that classic cheeseburger flavor, but cheddar, pepper jack, provolone, or Colby Jack also work great.
Drain excess grease from the beef mixture before assembling the sliders. Toasting the bottom buns slightly can also help prevent sogginess.

My family obsessed over these. Messy, cheesy, and so easy to eat way too many 😂
Yay Shannon so happy you love them 🙂
I’ve made these over 10 times and I always get so many compliments. We typically eat ground turkey so the first time I made these it was with ground turkey, but I’ve recently started making them with beef and they’re soo good both ways!
Yay Michael, so happy you loved them 🙂 Thanks for the great review!
My wife and I made these last night and WOW! Best sliders either one of us have eaten. We didn't have siracha sauce so we substituted with a creamy chipotle sauce with the mayo.
So tasty!!! Yummmmmm
Greek yogurt would be a good substitute 🙂
Is there an alternative to Mayo? Kiddo is allergic
I've never tried ground turkey in these. If you do let me know how they turn out 🙂
Can you use ground Turkey for sliders?
