Ingredients Needed

- Ground beef: I use ground beef, but you can certainly use ground turkey or chicken.
- Taco seasoning: You can use prepackaged taco seasoning or make my Easy Homemade Taco Seasoning.
- Salsa: I recommend using jarred salsa as it is less watery than fresh salsa.
How To Make Crescent Roll Taco Bake

- Step 1: Add ground beef to a large skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Step 2: Pour the jar of salsa along with the taco seasoning into the ground beef skillet and use a wooden spoon to stir and let it simmer.

- Step 3: Prep the baking dish by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray. Then open a can of crescent dough and press the dough into the bottom of your baking dish. Carefully press the seams of the dough together.
- Step 4: Spoon the meat mixture on top of the dough and cover with the shredded cheese. Bake until the crust is golden brown. Serve and enjoy!

Recipe Tips
- Instead of ground beef, use ground turkey or even ground chicken.
- If you like your crust crispier, bake just the crescent roll for 4-5 minutes, then add the meat and cheese and continue baking.
- You can also use the full-sheet crescent rolls.
- I recommend using jarred salsa. It's thicker than fresh salsa.
What toppings should I add?
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes or pico de gallo
- Black olives
- Green chiles or a can of Rotel
- Sliced jalapenos
- Sour cream
- Avocado slices
- Guacamole
- Green onions
- Cilantro
